Do I need to do any electrical installation?

No, not at all. You don’t need any electrical knowledge or need to turn off the power. This cover is a purely decorative accessory that attaches directly over your existing switch plate or wall plate. The lever works mechanically by pressing the buttons on your original switch.

Is it compatible with my light switch?

It’s specifically designed for standard square 86mm wall switches.

How is it attached to the switch?

It installs in just a few seconds using high-strength double-sided adhesive tape (or a snap-fit design, depending on the frame).

  1. Clean the surface of your existing switch with alcohol to remove dust and grease.
  2. Remove the protective backing from the adhesive on the back of the cover.
  3. Align the lever with the light switch buttons and press firmly for a few seconds.

Is the joystick mechanism durable enough for everyday use?

Yes. It’s made using durable ABS / PLA 3D-printed material, designed to withstand everyday use. However, since it’s a 3D-printed accessory with moving parts, we recommend moving the lever gently to ensure a longer lifespan and avoid forcing the stops.
